    I just saw this fic recommended in a FB group and thought I'd check it out. I devoured the chapters. It's been so hard for me to find a fic I really love from the beginning lately, but I think this is it. It just grabs you from the first line. I can't wait to read more.

    If Edward is her only child who is Alice's mother. I believe it's Edwards sister who is pregnant and does he even know if Bella is a virgin or not?. Prejudice and presumptions on both sides here, no matter how politically correct we like to be and bag Bella for being racist. Seriously all you reviewers out there would not react the same way?

      The prince seems to be able to come and go as he wishes. I think I would be telling Mona to move on too. She is old enough to bath and dress herself. Very uncomfortable with the thought of having that much personal service. I wonder if they keep her passport.

    Just re-read and I am so eager for a new chapter. I'm not a critical of the social/cultural talking points. I'm just here to read a good FICTION. I like accuracy insofar as it must be believable. We all have our preconceived notions of different cultures. In my experience with american/German/persian cultural/social differences, the truth or reality lies somewhere inbetween. And sometimes the stereotypes are way off.

    I posted a review and it is not here. I did it last week. Well I am glad you are posting and I am reading. Bella has been brought back and now Edward will know his sister helped her leave. His future baby mama/cousin has made her entrance, Bella needs to just tell him it is better for her to leave and let him continue with the gal he loves.

    You're doing a very good job at pointing out Marie's deep-seated racist views on Muslims. Her trauma on 9/11, being such a small child, taken out of school and the social aspect that she probably needed, never going to therapy (I'm assuming her grandmother didn't send her when she should have) and her grandmother's brainwashing afterwords explains a lot. I enjoy this story and I have a lot of conflicting emotions while reading all the chapters. On the one hand, Mazen is wonderful, almost too wonderful (but that's our Edward ). His patience and kindness are what gives us as the reader hope that in the end, Marie will love him, and want to embrace his life and customs. He readily agreed that her Catholic religion was important too, so she shouldn't have to abandon her own beliefs in the process. As much as I can see these two working out their differences, there's one important element of this story that can't be dismissed. Marie was basically kidnapped and traded for Alice's life. Jasper's betrayal of her has to be addressed, That has to have screwed her mind up as much as 9/11 did. Maybe more, strangers took her grandfather's life away, Jasper took hers (in her mind). And glossing over Honor Killings makes me shutter, Mazen doesn't agree with it, but it's still practiced in his country because his people (not all but most?) would be upset if that tradition was banned and that was the end of that discussion. One last thought, that paragraph on Black Keys was beautiful, I loved it. I can't wait to see Marie's growth, her return to her company (even if it's just the branch where she is now), and Jasper's comeuppance.

      you cant be serious! First this is a fictional story where yuo can make things happen. second this isnt happening in Iran, or taking place in the medieval times where kings marry for duty, pop an heir and then seek mistresses for the rest of their lives. this is Mazen, neither cruel, nor ignorant. Third, its not even 70-s. its the 21st century, year 2015. Morover, there are cases even in real life where arab princes or powerful men, married woneb from the wes and of another faith!

    I can honestly say that this is THE best story I have read in a really long time both online and not. I found it today and have read all day trying to finish. I am SO happy to know that you are writing another two books after this because after finding it now I just want to keep reading. As a Muslim, I never thought that anyone would be able to write a fanfic like this(on Islam no less) but you have done it so beautifully that anyone who reads it is sure to be captivated by it and obsessed with it. I have found that it was always a little difficult to explain certain aspects of religion to people but you have done so with such a simplicity and ease that it inspires me to have the patience to teach others the way you are doing with your story. You have made me a devoted follower of your stories and I hope to continue reading for as long as you are writing.

    Amazing story! Awesome ending paving the way for book 2 (the sequel). The separation from Mazen gave Marie the opportunity to find her Black Keys. A discovery by herself. It was an eye opener for her to find and know things that has been placed in her mind since her grandfather's passing. I love how clearly you wrote every scene for us readers to feel what Bella is going through. That realization that Bella's grandmother's loyal caregiver is a Muslim was the biggest eye opener about Bella's false beliefs on Arabs/Muslims. I can't get the proper words to describe how I really feel after reading this last chapter. Nonetheless I'd say Kudos Rose B Mashal for a well written story! An unique story so very different from all the stories I've read since I started reading fanfics! Thank you so much for sharing this! <3
    Now I am ready for Book 2 (the sequel)

    I am very disappointed that I didn't get to read chapter 35. And I don't understand why I wasn't notified. I am signed up for emails on this blog and have twice told you that I am not receiving them. I am also on alert for this story at Fan Fiction, where you have been posting story updates due to many people not receiving blog notices. I didn't hear from them either. I came here today to check on the story only to find that it has been pulled. I am sad and upset that I didn't get closure on the finish of this first segment.

    Good luck with your publishing. It is an excellent story that I enjoyed very much.
